History majors may also think about doing an internship in the Department of Special and Area Studies Collections, at the University Press of Florida, or with a number of local historical societies and museums. Internships are arranged on a case-by-case in consultation with the Department’s Internship Coordinator (usually the Undergraduate Coordinator).
