Research Interests

Seventeenth-century natural philosophy, with focus on France; Seventeenth-century Parisian learned societies; History of mathematics; Historiography of the Scientific Revolution; History of science and religion; emergence of atheism in Early Modern/Modern Europe; History of Christianity; History of education; artisans and apprenticeship in Early Modern Europe.
